Prize Draw Terms and Conditions for the 2018 Tasmanian Vocational Education and Training Student Survey

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter the prize draw for the 2018 Tasmanian Vocational Education and Training Student Survey (‘Promotion’) forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  3. The Sponsor is Skills Tasmania, Department of State Growth. Skills Tasmania can be contacted at ph. 1800 655 846, email tasmania.reception@skills.tas.gov.au, mail GPO Box 536, HOBART, TAS 7001.
  4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and Sponsor associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st
  5. The Total Prize Pool is valued at $1,500, consisting of pre-paid VISA gift cards as follows: $500 x 1, $250 x 2, $100 x 5.
  6. The Promotion commences at 10am, 17th of February 2019 and ends 12pm midnight, 17th of March 2019 (‘Promotional Period’).
  7. The Promotion consists of two prize draws. The first will be for one (1) prize of $500 (‘First Prize Draw’).  The second will be for two (2) prizes of $250 and five (5) prizes of $100 (‘Second Prize Draw’).
  8. To enter, individuals must complete the 2018 Vocational Education and Training Student Survey (‘Survey’) online or by telephone interview.
  9. To be eligible for the First Prize Draw, entries must be received by midnight, 3rd of March 2019.
  10. To be eligible for the Second Prize Draw, entries must be received by midnight, 17th of March 2019. Unsuccessful entries to the First Prize Draw will be automatically entered into the Second Prize Draw.
  11. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  12. Winners will be determined by a random draw at 60 Main Road Moonah, 7009 on 6th March 2019, 12pm for the First Prize Draw and at 60 Main Road Moonah, 7009, on 20th March 2019, 12pm for the Second Prize Draw. The database from which winners will be randomly drawn will be compiled specifically for the draw and permanently deleted once the Promotion is complete.  The information in the database will be kept separate from Survey responses and will not be used to identify entrants’ responses to the Survey, nor used by EMRS to send marketing materials, newsletters or other communications not associated with the Promotion.
  13. The Promoter may draw additional entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn, or a prize is unclaimed (‘Reserve Entries’).
  14. Winners will be notified in writing by email, and their name will be published online at https://www.emrs.com.au/SkillsSurveyWinner/ within two (2) business days of the relevant draw.
  15. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result.
  16. Prizes will be delivered to winners in a manner to be determined at the Promoter’s absolute discretion.
  17. If a winner does not accept the Prize within two weeks of being notified by the Promoter, then the Prize will be forfeited and deemed by the Promoter to be unclaimed. Unclaimed prizes will be allocated to Reserve Entries.
  18. Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry.
  19. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
  20. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI“) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will only use PI for the purposes of the Promotion and will contact entrants if it wishes to use the PI for any other purpose. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrants’ personal information to any entity outside of Australia.
