EMRS is Tasmania’s premier polling, market research and social research company.

The company was founded in 1987 and has an enviable record for accuracy, in particular in political opinion polling where it is widely regarded as the market leader in Tasmania.

EMRS has a 40-seat call centre located in Hobart, with a stable and experienced workforce. 

EMRS also operates a sizeable online panel to complement its call centre capacity, and has a face-to-face interviewing team situated right around the State.

In 2024, EMRS returned to its roots as a wholly Tasmanian-owned business. The business in headquartered in Hobart.
